Apply to join Personal Assistants at Home

The Personal Assistants at Home Network is an accreditation scheme open to everyone who wants to work, or is currently working, as an employed or self-employed PA. If you would like to join, please complete the online application form.

Join Personal Assistants at Home Network  

You do not need to have any formal qualifications or experience, just a passion for providing care and support to people who have social care or health care needs. 

 

You will need

• to complete the online application form
• to provide two references which are requested upon receipt of your application
• to have an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
• to set up a profile on the Notts Help Yourself PA directory.

What will happen next

The application will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Once you have submitted the form, Personal Assistants at Home will review your application and request your references. We will provide you with the information and support you need to complete the process and register as a PA on the Notts Help Yourself website. You will receive an email from UCheck system to complete the DBS check.

Please note there is a cost to join the Personal Assistants at Home Network of £3.50 per week or £15.12 per month.

As a member of the Personal Assistants at Home Network, you will receive many benefits included in the fee:

• comprehensive background checks including Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)
• access to 130+ fully accredited continuing personal development (CPD) courses
• access to downloadable policies and forms
• a support line available Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

When you have successfully completed the process and become accredited, your details will be added to the Notts Help Yourself Personal Assistant Directory with the Personal Assistants at Home Network logo included on your profile. Anyone looking to employ a PA for support will be able to contact you.
