I came to NCC after qualifying as a Social Worker just over 20 years ago. I’ve worked all over the County in lots of different teams. I’m now the Principal Child & Families Social Worker and manage the Practice Support Service Team.The learning and development opportunities I have
experienced at the Council have been fantastic.

Since I’ve worked here I’ve been supported to complete two Postgraduate Diplomas and lots of work related training.

During my career I have always been supported to continually develop myself professionally and I’m pleased that my current job gives me a role in supporting other staff – passing on my knowledge and experience. 

The best thing about working for Nottinghamshire County Council is the people. I’ve made lifelong friends here who have the same passion and commitment as I do.
