Emergency food parcels are a big success

Maureen is a resident from Ashfield who received a phone call from one our of advisors as part of the safe and well check calls we are making to our vulnerable Nottinghamshire residents.

As a result of the call, a need was identified and an emergency food parcel was organised to be delivered to her door.

Maureen was extremely grateful to receive the parcel and was so surprised she “almost cried at the kindness".

As part of our ongoing support of those residents who are having to stay at home, Maureen and her husband will now receive a government funded emergency food parcel each week.
