Brooklyn Day Nursery Staff – Brooklyn House Day Nursery

The nursery has fantastic links with the local community. The children regularly attend services and occasions at the local church and parents are invited to attend this. When there are different festivals whether religious or local the team ensure that the children's knowledge is expanded, and they can learn about all different cultures and beliefs. Recently they have started a pen pal relationship with another nursery in Australia which has been an excellent learning opportunity about culture, communication and geography. More recently my eldest child is about to transition into school in September. The nursery has ensured there was an open forum for parents to share their choices and then they have facilitated communication between the schools. They have set up different uniform boxes for the children and have slowly started to introduce the idea of school. I know my child is going to benefit from this massively in September and it will be all thanks to Brooklyn.
