Rampton Primary School

We have a mixed class of Nursery and Reception children here at Rampton Primary School. This is run by a Class Teacher and two amazing, part-time TAs. We have recently set up a pre-school setting at Rampton too, where we have two ladies who work tirelessly to ensure the environment is exciting and attractive. Rampton is a small village school in the middle of nowhere, therefore have to do a lot of advertising to keep numbers high. At the beginning of the year our numbers were low in Nursery and Reception (8) and Pre-school was just starting from scratch with potentially 2 pupils interested. Through hard work and dedicated staff, we are now in a great place with 5 children in pre-school and 15 children in Nursery/Reception and for September we already have 12 pupils signed up. We can proudly say we had a Good Ofsted inspection in Feb, and we have just had an observation by our Headteacher, and the feedback was Outstanding. All EY staff at Rampton work so hard and make such a good team!

Since it's revamp, The Blue Hut has gone from strength to strength. With such a void previously, The Blue Hut offers a warm and welcoming environment for children of the local community and further afield. Innovation, creativity and purpose are the 3 words I would use to describe this early years setting. Such a focus, despite being an older building, on promoting experience after experience for the children. From teaching them to take care and ownership of animals to gardening, creative arts to decorate the local village, the lists are endless. The Team working in there are working wonders for the smaller neighbouring villages and creating cohesion among the local community.
I'm only sad that I have no children of this age because I wouldn't hesitate in sending them there. I highly recommend this setting to anyone and everyone. High quality care and education from a great Team. Well done.

I am nominating EYFS at Rampton Primary School because I absolutely love working with this friendly caring team. I work as a teaching assistant in FS1/FS2 with the class teacher and another teaching assistant. We work together as a team with the pre-school leader and student in Fledglings. In the last two years the indoor and outdoor settings have been transformed into an amazing exploration of activities and learning experiences. The atmosphere amongst the staff and children is so happy and inviting and truly positive.  If ever we are short of staff one of us is happy to cover without question. If we ever need any resources we know that pre-school will be happy to give them to us and vice versa. All of the staff in EYFS know and love the children really well and strive to make their journey through school a positive enriched one. The support and feedback to parents is exceptional and I think the children are so lucky to be in the care and teaching support of this team.  

Absolutely amazing team who work at Rampton Primary. My daughter has become more confident after moving schools and moving away from being bullied. She takes part in a lot of extra curriculum activities that the school puts on and her academic abilities have improved immensely. Due to them being a small school, they know each child individually and teach them with an holistic approach. They are amazing.

I cannot express how caring and committed the team at nestlings are. They go above and beyond any preschool I have known before. From the playground and growing plants to reading, cooking and messy play my child learns in a verity of ways. My son has come on leaps since being here.

The Early years setting at Rampton Primary school is inspiring. I work with an Early Years Practitioner, two Teaching Assistants and one Early Years Teacher. We all help each other out and support one another.

Nestlings is in a small rural school, the staff there are absolutely out of this world with children and parents. They go above and beyond. It really is a hidden gem

All amazing, nothing is too much trouble and despite being a small village school, the team provide the pupils with amazing experiences.

They have an exceptional early years setting, a team is amazing, caring, thoughtful, everything they do is well thought out, and my child has flourished since being there.
