Supporting local charities

The County Council receives a number of requests from local charities looking to highlight their events to our employees and the residents of Nottinghamshire.

As part of our work to support local communities, each year the newly elected Chairman of the County Council selects a charity to support during their year in office.

The charity is promoted by the County Council on our website and to our employees to encourage fundraising.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide support to other charities to make sure we maximise the opportunities to raise money for the Chairman’s Charity.
