Civil and Military Partnership Board
The Civil and Military Partnership Board works to enhance, wherever possible, the welfare and wellbeing of the Armed Forces Community in Nottinghamshire, which consists of all people who are or have been regulars, reservists or cadet instructors and their immediate families. It achieves this aim through the sharing of information and knowledge, accessible to as many individuals and groups as possible.
Objectives
- Enhance Collaboration between organisations
- Coordinate Services
- Improve DATA on the Veteran Community
- Promote a positive public perception and understanding of the Armed Forces Community
- Commit to raising awareness and recognition of the Armed Forces Community.
Meetings
The Board , Independently chaired by the Lieutenancy is comprised of all statutory agencies and registered charities across Nottingham - Nottinghamshire and will meet a minimum of four times a year.
Victoria Cross
The CMPB recognises the extraordinary bravery of those from Nottinghamshire who have been awarded the Victoria Cross.
