Activities and venues

There are plenty of fantastic activities happening across the county as part of the Holiday Activities and Food programme.  Programmes run in the following school holidays: spring (Easter), summer, autumn (October) and winter. 

Children and young people can access the following:

  • 4 days of face-to-face activity in spring (Easter)
  • 12 days of face-to-face activity in summer
  • 4 days of face-to-face activity in autumn (October half term)
  • 4 days of face-to-face activity in winter

Bookings go live on the first of each delivery month (1 April, 1 July, 1 October and 1 December). Please check back to book your place. To request a HAF code, register here.

Family activity days

Family activity days are a wonderful way for the whole family to enjoy a day out together. The target age range is 5 to16 years (SEND 18 years). Siblings can attend with an eligible child.  

The family activity days include access to venues such as White Post Farm, Nottingham Ice Arena, Nottingham Castle and Adventures at the Mill. They will be advertised throughout the year.

Adventures at The Mill

Family days include the new High Trek and ZipTrek courses, suitable for ages 7 plus. Ages 7-11 years require a participating adult to go on the course with them, children aged 12-17 years require a spectating (or participating) adult. Big Zipwire – suitable for ages 7 plus, children aged 7-17 years require a spectating (or participating) adult. Net Park is suitable for ages 3 plus. Children aged between 3-4 years require a participating adult.
