If you have applied for assistance for the current academic school year:

  • Applications are processed within 20 working days
  • Any travel required to school prior to receiving travel assistance is subject to usual travel costs

If you have applied for assistance for the next academic school year starting in September:

  • Applications are processed throughout July and August
  • We will contact you with the outcome of your application at that time
  • If you have applied after 31st July we cannot guarantee your application will be processed in time for the start of school
  • Any travel required to school prior to receiving travel assistance is subject to usual travel costs
