Young people's centres provide safe spaces for young people, with trusted youth workers and fun and engaging activities.
In Nottinghamshire we have a number of purpose-built Young People's Centres across the county, managed by specially trained youth workers.
Our Youth Centres and mobile provision are BSI accredited, which means they reach a high level of health and safety standards.
Our aim is to give young people a safe place to meet friends and take part in a wide range of fun and engaging activities.
Our mobile provision operates across Nottinghamshire.
The vehicles are well resourced and fully accessible. The service is for young people aged 10-19 or up to 25 for people with disabilities.
They provide information and support, as well as activities including sports, games, music, arts and crafts.
Our participation team work with young people to ensure they are heard and enable them to make a positive contribution to their communities.
Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) are elected across the UK. MYPs are aged between 11 and 18 years old.
There are 8 MYPs for Nottinghamshire, one for each of the seven districts and one who represents children and young people with learning and physical difficulties.
Our interventions team have helped vulnerable young people across the county, many at risk of criminal exploitation.
Our interventions team of trusted youth workers provide diversionary activities with an aim to encourage young people to get involved with their local youth offer.
