Mobile youth provision
Our centres and mobile provision
In Nottinghamshire we have a number of purpose-built young people centres across the county managed by youth workers as well a number of clubs and mobile provision.
Our youth centres and mobile provision are OSHSAS approved, which means they reach a high level of health and safety standards.
Mobile youth bus service
Our mobile youth bus service operates in Nottinghamshire in the evenings. The vehicles are well resourced and have wheelchair access. The service is for young people aged 10-19, or up to 25, for people with disabilities.
Our aim is to give young people a place to socialise, meet friends, have fun and take part in a range of fun and enriching activities.
The service is run by specially trained professional youth workers, to engage with young people and to provide fun and positive activities. All our staff are enhanced DBS checked.
The mobile youth service provides:
- Access to information and advice on a wide range of topics
- Board games, console games, music, and even circus skills
- Arts, crafts and quizzes
- The opportunity to take part in trips out, for example ice skating or bowling
- The chance to participate in sports like cricket, football, volleyball, rounders, tennis, badminton and basketball
- Snacks and refreshments
There is no need to book, just come along and visit us when we are in your area. We record the names of young people who visit, for monitoring purposes, however this information is kept confidential and in accordance with GDPR.
