About Sarah Watson BA (Hons) Sarah Watson explores the beauty and dynamism of the natural landscape, travelling to the most stunning and diverse areas of the UK to paint. Closer to home she is particularly in thrall to the constantly changing colours and patterns in the crop fields and the endlessly changing drama in the clouds of Lincolnshire’s enormous skies. She has exhibited in one woman shows in Grantham, London and the Lake District, and been represented at the prestigious Fletcher Gate Art Gallery in Nottingham and Gallery6 in Newark. She featured on the Sky Arts Landscape Artist Of The Year in 2016, and was accepted for membership of the exclusive Lincolnshire Artists’ Society who used one of her paintings as the poster for this year’s Art In The Barn group show at Doddington Hall. Born in Oakham, Rutland, in 1972, Sarah graduated from De Montfort University with a First Class degree in Combined Arts in 1994, specializing in Abstract Painting. After 15 years working in the music industry, she settled in Grantham to devote her time entirely to her own art and that of her talented students who, say inspire her as much as the countryside around her.
