Work placements for young people with learning disabilities

Could you offer a work placement, internship or paid employment to a young person with a learning disability?

Engage2Employ provides a tailored package to support young people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities to acquire the skills and confidence to succeed in the work place.

Support is given through the recruitment process, induction and training to on the job support. Participants receive Job coaching to support them to learn the tasks required, at no cost to the employer.

Evidence shows employees with a learning disability are loyal, hardworking, enthusiastic, stay with one employer for longer than most other employees and take less time off work.
