In-post apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are the new way to develop your skills and undertake qualifications at work, from GCSE to postgraduate level.

Funded qualifications and training are now available to all County Council employees in a wide range of subjects, from level 2 (equivalent to 5 GCSEs) to 7 (Masters level). The training programmes usually take between one and four years to complete, depending upon which level you take. All training costs are met by the County Council’s apprenticeship levy.
