Information
A 7km leisure route linking Vicar Water Country Park at Clipstone, with Sherwood Pines and Bilsthorpe. The route connects into the County's wider leisure network. It provides an onward connection via National Cycle Network Route 6 to Worksop at the northern end, and to the Southwell Trail, which ends at Bilsthorpe. The route, created from a derelict mineral railway line, increases the number of safe crossing points on the A614 north for walkers, cyclists and horse riders – improving access to tourist attractions such as Sherwood Pines and Vicar Water Country Park.
