Use this form to submit and pay for a Public Rights of Way search request in order to answer questions 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 and 2.5 of the CON29 form.

Our fees for Public Rights of Way, Common Land, Town and Village Green Land search requests have changes from April 2024 due to inflation. New CON29 charges:

Public Rights of Way - £22.00 + VAT* (£26.40 including VAT)
Common and Greens - 40.00 + VAT* (£48.00 including VAT)

*for search areas in excess of 2 square km please contact us for a quotation.

Registered Document - £21.00 + VAT (£25.20 including VAT)

Where individual invoices are requested an additional £7.00 + VAT will be charged to cover administration costs.

CON29 search requests enable members of the public, land owners, solicitors and developers to find out if any Public Rights of Way affect their property.

You will need

the full address of the property/location
an Ordnance Survey plan for your search area
a reference number
your credit/debit card for payment.

What will happen next

Once the form has been submitted we will aim to return your search response to your email address within 3 to 5 working days. Please be aware that this may vary in busy periods.
