Day Opportunities
Day opportunities, also known as day services, provide individuals with the chance to get out and do something during the day, evening or weekends. Opportunities include:
- social activities
- education, employment and training
- local facilities and housing.
If an individual is interested in taking up a day opportunity, they need to complete a care and support assessment and be eligible for care services. For more information, please also read the Day Services factsheet [Word]. If you have any questions, call us on 0300 500 80 80.
Day opportunities are delivered by a wide range of providers in different locations in the county. Individuals can access the council day services [Word] or the independent organisations who are on the Day Opportunities Framework [Excel] that started from October 2024.
