Summary
The Minerals Local Plan was adopted in December 2005 and extends to 2014. It is the blueprint for quarrying in Nottinghamshire and aims to strike a balance between meeting society's needs for minerals and the need to protect our local environment. It should be used in conjunction with the Nottinghamshire Minerals Local Plan which is also current (see related documents).
