Nottinghamshire Older Persons Housing with Care Strategy 2018 - 2025
Summary
The Council’s aspiration is for older adults to remain living in their own
homes and avoid any unnecessary moves wherever possible. The Council
can help people to access a wide range of services to enable people to
remain independent in their own homes, whilst having their care and
support needs met. Where support is required, the purpose of the support
will be to restore, maintain or enhance people’s independence, helping
them to live as settled and fulfilled a life as possible.
