Via
Via East Midlands provides highways and fleet management services in Nottinghamshire.
From 1 April 2019, Via became fully owned by Nottinghamshire County Council.
All profits generated by Via through its commercial work will be re-invested in the county for the benefit of local residents.
Via has been fully operational since July 2016, based in existing Nottinghamshire County Council highways buildings and depots.
Via carry out a range of highways and fleet management services on behalf of the council. It will also be able to trade commercially to gain work of up to 20% of its turnover.
A number of services are offered by Via, including:
- highways maintenance design and consultancy
- construction
- signals and lighting
- landscaping
- environmental management
- road safety
- fleet services
- a dedicated highways training centre.
