Parking and Idling
Many schools experience congestion and idling at the school gates, leading to complaints from residents, road safety concerns and poor air quality.
What can the school do?
There are a number of resources available that schools can use to encourage safer parking:

Additionally, the school can encourage more sustainable forms of travel such as walking, cycling, Park & Stride and car sharing to reduce the number of vehicles travelling to the school site.
