Cycling
Cycling to school is ideal for older pupils, or younger pupils accompanied by parents / carers. It also has loads of great benefits:
- More children cycling to school helps to reduce congestion and pollution outside the school gates.
- It helps improve health and fitness. Exercise before school is proven to increase concentration as well as contriute to the recommended 60 minutes of exercise per day
- Cycling helps develop a child’s independence and road safety awareness.
